Bangor Pride - Community Groups Forum:

1.0 Vision:

The promotion of a sense of civic pride amongst those that own or manage businesses in Bangor, an acceptance of a shared responsibility with regards the quality of the local environment and the implementation of actions that will bring about local regeneration creating a safer, cleaner, more attractive and more interesting city.

To bring together and reflect the diverse community voices of Bangor and contribute to the vision of Bangor Pride.

2.0 Objectives:

2.1 To improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Community Groups in Bangor through the sharing of good practise and resources.

2.2 To provide an effective platform for communication both amongst community and voluntary sector groups in Bangor and between such organisations and public and private sector bodies.

2.3 To encourage the development of partnership working and collaborative projects that will benefit the environment and communities of Bangor.

3.0 Meetings

The Forum will meet on a quarterly basis and the Bangor Pride Project Officer will provide a secretariat service to support the work of the Forum. 

The Forum shall appoint a Chair and representative for the Bangor Pride Steering Group on an annual basis.

Members responsible for community venues will host meetings on a cyclical basis.
