BANGOR PRIDE: UNIVERSITY GROUP

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Vision:

The promotion of a sense of civic pride amongst those who study, work and / or live in and around the University estate and around the city of Bangor, an acceptance of shared responsibility with regard to the quality of the local environment and the implementation of actions that will bring about local regeneration and improve the quality of life.

Terms of Reference:

1. To raise awareness and put in place measures to ensure clean and tidy streets, public spaces and private land around the University estate.
2. To promote staff and student involvement in environmental and local regeneration projects.
3. To continue to influence public perception through positive direct action by students in the community.
4. To influence and change media perception by ensuring that positive messages about the work of the Group is reported.
5. To facilitate and support the Love Bangor campaign.
6. To report to the main Bangor Pride Group.
7. To report to the Bangor University Liaison Group.
