| HRH the Prince of Wales (in
his capacity as the Chancellor of the University of Wales) is due
to attend a ceremony marking the centenary of the laying
of the University's Main Arts Building foundation stone (by King
Edward VII on 9 July 1907). The ceremony will take place in
the Pritchard Jones Hall on the 7th June and include a programme
of music a reception and procession.
The Prince, in his capacity as the President of the The Prince’s
Trust and PRIME-Cymru, will also host a dinner for Welsh entrepreneurs
on board the Royal Train at Bangor.
The University will continue celebrations over the month with an
open exhibition in the Shankland Reading Room of the Main Arts library
for which all are welcome to view.
